Modifying Mortgages In Bankruptcy


Many of you may be aware that Congress has proposed mortgage modification within the Bankruptcy Process. This is a measure I strongly agree will aid many consumers to protect and save their home from foreclosure. The Bill, however, does not go far enough in my opinion. The Bill in its present form only applies in Chapter 13 Bankruptcy cases.
