Changing US Bankruptcy Law Top Priority


Not only does President Obama support changing the bankruptcy laws to enable bankruptcy judges from the bankruptcy courts to adjust residential mortgages through Chapter 13, but so does the Speaker of the House. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) . House Democrats are trying to push through this legislation as part of the economic stimulus package. All indications are that this legislation, which Citibank now supports, should happen soon!
